National Certificates Unit Standards Employment Skills School Programmes Block Courses

Land Based Training offer a variety of short courses including specific training on a range of Unit Standards that are on the NZQA Framework, Transit Working on the Road, GrowSafe, Employment Skills Certificates, Star Courses,  Industry Specific Block Courses, Health and Safety Representative courses as well as National Certificates in Agriculture, Civil Construction and Health and Safety.

GROWSAFE .
The safe use of agrichemicals (plant, pest and disease) for ALL users of chemicals, click on the title for more detail.
Two stages:
GROWSAFE Standard Introductory Certificate
GROWSAFE Applied Certificate

Motivational and Job Search Skills

STAR’S COURSES
Land Based Training currently run 30 week STAR courses in a number of secondary schools. Trainees learn basic farming skills and this allows them to go on to the National Certificate in Agriculture Level Two and Level Four

 

 
WORKING ON THE ROAD .
Land Based Training Ltd runs courses throughout New Zealand (depending on demand). The courses are designed to encompass both what Transit require for those with minor temporary traffic management responsibilities, with:
