Land Based Training delivers pre-employment training courses in farming, civil construction and hospitality for employment and /or further education.

LBTWork2Day programmes

Designed to deliver employment outcomes for our clients. The 13 week courses key components include life skills, employment skills and work skills. Work2day courses are available in Wanganui, Marton, Palmerston North, and Hawkes Bay. The strength of the courses, an initiative in partnership with Work & Income is the ability to adapt and meet the needs of clients. The Employment Coaches and support tutors are focussed professionals.

A course for adults(18+) on a benefit and with a desire to re-enter the work force.

LBTFoundation – Focused programmes

Designed to deliver learning to further education and employment. The 26 week courses key components are life skills and employment skills, with some work skills. Targeting adults(18+) on a main benefit who need a supportive environment to prepare for the workplace. Includes Literacy and Numeracy training.

Foundation focused programmes can be found in Marton and North Taranaki. A partnership with the Tetiary Education Commision.

LBTYouth Training

Designed to deliver teaching to 16-18 year old trainees. The 44 week courses have key components of life skills, employment skills and work place skills. The Youth courses are based in Wanganui, Taranaki and Manawatu.

Land Based Training offers pre employment farming, civil construction and hospitality training courses for those wanting to stretch their skills and move on to new things.
